A Visit From My Sissy!!

 We had a fabulous weekend with a last minute visit from my dad, my sissy and her darling daughters!! It was such a blast!!  The weather wasn't so great and Warrensburg is just kinda boring :)...so we had to make our own fun! I just love hanging with these girlies!

Ryan wet up a tour of Oscar 1 for us.  This was especially for my dad!  Oscar 1 was one of the nuclear weapon bunkers.  The missileer's had to spend 24 hours at a time locked under ground waiting and ready to detonate a nuclear weapon if necessary.  Its a pretty crazy place!

 On Sunday afternoon, we decorated cookies to pass the time!  Everyone made amazing cookies!

 We discovered that Harper had some mad cookies decorating skills! She did this all by herself!

 The big kids loved to pile on as much candy as possible:)

 Beckham dug into his so fast I couldn't even get a picture of it.

 Even Grandpa made a cookie :)

 At night the kids loved reading together in Jane's room before bed!!

 We played lots of Kinect games to get some energy out while stuck in doors!

 Beckham's school had a carnival on Saturday, so we decided to take the kiddos!  They got to play tons of games and win lots of prizes:)  And we waited in FOREVER to get everyone's face painted!

 Elsie got a princess crown, of course!

 Mae got some magical musical notes on her face while Beckham went for something more menacing:)

 Claire got a blue princess crown and Jane got a dolphin!! Harper managed to sneak her way into the line further up and got a broken heart on her face before anyone else in our group! She's quite resourceful :)

 There was also a pretty sweet bouncy house!

 Our first night, we went swimming!!!  Pretty sure this was the favorite activity of the weekend!! What's better than swimming with cousins?

 We had an absolute blast with family in town and were sad to see them leave:( We love our family so so much!!

Last Thursday, Jane had her music concert at school and it was so darling! Jane got to dress like a forties gal and even had speaking parts!!  The kids sang songs from all different eras and it was so darling!!

 Elsie was invited to a princess birthday party and had so much fun! She got to play on bouncy houses, eat beautiful cupcakes and even got a tiara!!

 Beckham is getting so big!! He had his first blue and gold banquet a few weeks ago. And I was so impressed when we and his buddy got up in front of everyone and performed a skit they had been working on!!

 My kiddos are just growing up too fast!  I love watching them experience and try new things!
